As Test & Validation Engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the continuous development of the test methodology and act as an interface to the test center for wind turbines. Your tasks an responsibilities:
- Development and further development as well as validation of the specific test method of wind gears/drive trains
- Validation of computer simulations
- Analysis of main risks with the help of FMEA
- Application and development of control strategies, sensors and data acquisition systems
- Evaluation of test results
- Collaboration with international teams from development, design and test center regarding analysis and evaluation of test campaigns
Your profile:
- Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering or comparable training
- Knowledge of various test methods in transmission design (HALT, CALT); similar tools such as SIXSIGMA (DoE)
- Profound knowledge in the field of test engineering
- Understanding of measurement sensors and systems and experience in identifying weak points
- Good knowledge in data analysis
- Experience with Matlab
- Experience in cross-site and cross-functional collaboration as well as fluency in written and spoken English
