With over 17,000 employees at 600 locations in 50 countries, the company has a global presence, including a subsidiary in the Ruhr area, a leading global manufacturer of high-performance and reliable industrial cranes, crane components and drive technology. For this location we are looking for reinforcement for the Embedded Solution development team at the earliest possible date.
Your tasks an responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of software for embedded systems
- Responsibility for the entire life cycle of embedded software development with the goal of creating scalable and optimized software systems
- Coding, testing and debugging system software
- Increase and improve efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
- Interface function and technical consulting for internal customers
Your profile:
- Completed studies in electrical or communications engineering or comparable qualification
- First professional experience in the design of embedded applications and systems
- Good knowledge of microcontrollers as well as programming languages such as C, Python u./o. Assembler
- Expertise in operating system coding techniques, IP protocols and hardware subsystems
- Familiar with software configuration management tools, bug tracking and peer review tools
- Ability to work independently, strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, ability to innovate
- Good command of written and spoken English and intercultural competence
