As Drivetrain Systems Analyst (m/f/d) you will be responsible for developing advanced system-level FE models for wind turbine mechanical drivetrains to perform both detailed analysis and trade-off studies. Your tasks an responsibilities:
- Develop advanced system-level FE models for wind turbine mechanical drivetrains to perform both detailed analysis and trade-off studies.
- Support the development of analytical and empirical tools and methods to describe key elements of the wind turbine system, with a focus on the mechanical drivetrain
- Develop and implement state-of-the-art FE-based analysis methods for wind turbine drivetrain elements
- Validation of simulations against test bed and prototype data and continuous improvement of the predictive capability of such models.
Your profile:
- Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering or comparable training
- Extensive experience with FE modeling in ANSYS Workbench and APDL of mechanical drivelines including shafts, bearings and gears
- General knowledge of engineering software development
- Strong Matlab skills
- Experience in cross-site and cross-functional collaboration as well as fluency in written and spoken English
