Your tasks an responsibilities:

  • Contributing your experience to the concept, system and detail design of new main gearboxes and drivetrains
  • Optimization of existing designs in terms of reliability, efficiency, power density, noise emission
  • Preparation of drawings and parameterized models
  • Calculation and pre-design of gears and bearings according to turbine specifications
  • Performing DFMEA and ensuring manufacturability
  • Promote and continuously improve products based on validation and field experience
  • Close cooperation with internal and external partners distributed worldwide
  • Investigate and evaluate design solutions as well as technological innovations in gear technology

Your tasks an responsibilities:

  • Completed university studies in mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
  • Many years of professional experience in the design of planetary gearboxes or wind turbine drive trains
  • Reliable user knowledge of 3D CAD systems, preferably
  • Pro/ENGINEER or Creo Parametric
  • Knowledge of casting technology for housing and planetary carrier designs
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and certification requirements
  • Experience in cross-site and cross-functional collaboration
  • Goal-oriented, self-organized and self-motivated
  • Intercultural competence and fluency in written and spoken English
